Mosaic art is a form of visual artthat involves creating images orpatterns using small pieces of materials like glass, stone,ceramic, or other objects, called tesserae. These pieces are carefully arranged and affixed to a surface to form a cohesive and often intricate design.
The brief was to represent the fish in the River Kennet in Ramsbury. The size and scale of the fish were taken into consideration for the design. The fish included in the design are pike, grayling, perch, roach, carp and trout it was finalized to do the project in hard stones in the form of opus sectile and mosaic.
